Flat Roofing
Flat and low-slope sections need a different system than the sloped part of your house. Water sits on them instead of running off.

Additions, garages, dormers and small commercial buildings often have a flat or very low-slope section, and it is usually the part of the building that leaks first. Shingles do not work here. Water does not drain fast enough for a shingle roof to shed it.
Viktor covers low-slope sections with a proper membrane system, with the underlayment run and lapped so that standing water has nothing to get into. Penetrations, edges and the transition where the flat section meets the sloped roof are where these fail, so that is where the time goes.
If your flat roof is patched and ponding, it is worth having it looked at before winter rather than after the first thaw.

Why does my flat roof keep leaking after patches?
Patching treats the symptom. If water is ponding because of how the roof drains, or the failure is at a seam or a penetration, a patch buys a season. Worth having the whole section assessed before spending again.
Do you do commercial flat roofs?
Small commercial, yes, the scale of a shop or a single unit. Large industrial roofs are a different trade with different equipment and Viktor will tell you if your job is one of those.
